Marple Hall School has been a customer for many years. Service Telecom has worked closely with the school’s IT and network manager to improve the infrastructure and ensure that current and future requirements are met.
The network upgrade was planned and completed over a five-year period with the intention of tackling the most urgent areas as a priority to ensure that the school budget could be effectively managed.
Another driving force for the infrastructure upgrade was the awareness of the BT 2025 switch-off and the need for the school to move from a traditional to a VoIP telephone system.
The system set-up was carefully planned to use and improve the current system’s structure. The service Telecom engineer accessed this in a format that the school could use.
Once the school was satisfied with the planning, Service Telecom set up the new system in the background. We provided access to the school to check and confirm that it was set up according to their requirements.
The installation of the system was undertaken during school holidays to ensure minimum disruption to the school.
This collaborative approach, coupled with the ability to make changes before the system goes live, has left our client delighted with the outcome.
