Structured cabling testing
Gone are the days where our structured cabling and data networks only need to carry traffic for PCs and printers. It’s now common to have our voice services, burglar alarms, CCTV, climate control and even kitchen appliances connected. You need to know if your network is capable of taking the bandwidth. Our engineers can test and certify your network, so you know exactly what it can and can’t handle.
This service is also particularly useful for building landlords who manage office space where previous tenants have left and network installation behind. Save time and effort by testing and certifying this network for future use.
Structured cabling troubleshooting
Do you have a network fault?
Our trained engineers can use state of the art Fluke network testing equipment to test and certify networks up to Cat 8 standard, including both copper and fibre networks. Test results are recorded which will enable any measuring of future degradation.
Ensure you are getting the most out of your business network
If you’re taking on a network, you may need to certify that it has been installed and terminated correctly and in accordance with all relevant standards. Poorly terminated structured cabling is one of the most common causes of slower than expected network speeds. Cabling that hasn’t been installed to all the relevant standards can also leave it vulnerable to interference and drop outs.
Service Telecom will fully document each test, cable by cable, port by port, for comprehensive peace of mind.
